Thanks very much for this article. I’m a big fan of the plank and plank progression. could you please explain why not to perform the plank in excess of 1 minute? also, recently i was watching a video on you tube of coach jonathan chaimberg training some athletes and he was getting them to perform side plank in 5 second bursts (hold plank for 5 seconds then down back up and repeat) could you please explain this form of the excercise?
