Almost every trainer I speak to wants to know the ‘secret’ of program design. Having an advanced client is easy but how do you get a beginner client to the advanced stage? In this talk Jon is going back to basics. Jon will go over his “Focus System” which gives step by step instructions to follow when programming for beginners to take them to the next level. As a bonus, Jon will give a couple tips how to use this system as a tool for retaining and selling clients after the initial sessions. This is often a difficult sell for the client since you haven’t built up a relationship yet. With The “Focus System” the sale will be seamless.
All of these workshops are interactive and jam packed with simple to use concepts & techniques that you can immediately apply to get better results from your training!

Compared to other Fitness Conferences – The Strength Cruise is by far the very BEST Value for your time and money…Period!!!
There’s not another fitness conference on this planet that can show you a better time and provide you with a more valuable learning experience than the 1st Annual Strength Cruise – I’ve made sure of that!
Check out this little price comparison of a normal fitness conference vs. the Strength Cruise:
Conference Cost Comparison
At an Average 3-Day Conference - Cost is $250-$350
At the Strength Cruise – Cost is only $147 (you save $100+)
.
Room, Food & Entertainment Cost
Comparison
At an Average 3-Day Conference – Hotel room cost per night is approx. $180. Food Cost (3 meals per day) is approx. $60. Throw in another $50 per night for cab fare and entertainment. That’s a total of $290 per night, which over 3-days comes out to $870!
On the Strength Cruise – You pay only $360 for 3-nights, which covers your room, and all the food you can eat, going to the Bahama, and all of the ships entertainment & amenities! (You save $510)
.
Educational Experience Cost Comparison
At an Average 3-Day Conference – You’ll see a few of the presenters you like due to multiple classes happening at once. The classes are usually only 90min. And, you’re lucky if you get a few minutes to meet and speak with your favorite fitness presenters to ask them a question or two.
At the Strength Cruise - There are three intensive workshops, which are each approx. 3hrs long. So your learning experience will be much more thorough! Plus, there’s only one class going on at a time, so everyone gets to attend every class! And, the best part is that after classes are over, you’re still on a cruise ship where you’ll have the rest of the days to hang and talk shop with your favorite fitness presenters on the pool deck, or at dinner, or at the bar, or at the gym or at the beach in the Bahamas! Now, you can’t put an exact dollar value on that kind of unique experience because it’s priceless! But, just to spend 3-days of semi-private time with myself or any of the other internationally known presenters on the Strength Cruise would cost you around $500+. On the Strength Cruise it’s absolutely FREE!
At The Average 3-Day Conference – Your Total Investment could easily be approx. $1600+
At the Strength Cruise – Your Total Investment is around $520
(these approx. numbers do not include flight costs)
That’s Over $1000 LESS than you’d spend to attend another conference. So you’ll save lots of $, get a better learning experience, AND you’ll be on a beautiful cruise ship to the Bahamas!

Jon got certified as a personal trainer the minute he turned 18. After obtaining CanFit-Pro’s PTS designation he started working as a weight room manager and personal trainer at the University of Western Ontario’s Sports and Recreation complex. Spending 30+ hours/week in the gym while completing an honors degree in Kinesiology gave him a strong foundation in personal training.
For Jon, personal training is truly a journey. He has obtained the NSCA CSCS designation and attends numerous conferences/events throughout the year. He’s had experience as a weight room manager, personal trainer, senior personal trainer, and workshop organizer, and regularly speaks about everything from the trainer’s scope in nutrition monitoring to the advantages of focusing on niche markets.
Over his time in the industry he’s noticed that while an abundance of information on exercise selection, physiology, and biomechanics exists, there’s a lack of information for trainers who are new to the game and want to establish a career personal training. After being asked for the umpteenth time whether any resources to help ease a trainer’s transition from part-time job to career exist, he decided to fill the gap.
The Personal Trainer Development Center (PTDC) is a dream come true for Jon. He looks forward to providing top notch information for personal trainers in addition to developing the best collection of coaches around.
